I earned my BS in Elementary Education and my MA in Special Education, and while I started my career in the classroom, I’ve always been drawn to visual storytelling and helping people share what matters most to them. That passion is truly at the heart of everything I do.

My love for content creation began long before social media ever felt like a “thing.” In high school, I took advanced photography and worked as a photographer’s assistant during school breaks—capturing weddings, school events, and all the in-between moments that tell such beautiful stories. Those early experiences sharpened my eye for design, composition, and detail, and they continue to influence my approach to creativity and Canva today.

In college, I started documenting my life through little vlogs—just for fun! I loved capturing memories, moments, and milestones, and eventually it clicked: I could turn something I genuinely enjoy into a business that helps small businesses express what they love most.

During graduate school, I served as the Graduate Assistant for the James Center for Student Success and Advising, where I managed social media and promoted events for the Reich College of Education. That role helped me fine-tune my communication style, strengthen my storytelling voice, and learn how to engage an audience with clarity and purpose.

My background as a teacher has also been one of my greatest assets in marketing. Educators are organized, detail-oriented, task-driven, and great at meeting deadlines. We know how to break big projects down into clear, manageable steps. As your social media manager, I bring all of that—plus a love for storytelling, a sharp eye for trends, and a commitment to creating content that feels both engaging and genuine.

Today, I pour my energy into helping small businesses grow within their communities through meaningful, creative content—whether that’s post ideas, content sessions, reels, or carousels that truly reflect your brand’s personality. I love a good trend, and I love bringing stories to life in ways that feel fun, authentic, and full of heart.
