I hold a BS in Elementary Education and an MA in Special Education. While my career started in the classroom, I have always been drawn to visual storytelling and helping people share what matters most to them.

My love for content creation started long before social media was a career path. In high school, I worked as a photographer’s assistant capturing weddings and events, which built my foundation for design and composition. In college and grad school, I started vlogging and managing social media for university programs. It was not long before I realized I could turn that passion into a business helping small businesses share their stories.

Having a background as a teacher makes a huge difference in how I run my business. Educators are organized, detail-oriented, and used to fast-paced environments. We know how to take big, overwhelming projects and turn them into clear, simple steps. As your creative director, I bring that same structure and reliability, along with a sharp eye for trends and a focus on authentic content.

Over the past year, Short Spark Media took off in ways I am so grateful for. I have worked with incredible lifestyle creators in Raleigh, local businesses across North Carolina, and brands beyond state lines to build social feeds they are truly proud of.

Now, I am bringing all of that momentum to Florida! After our wedding, my husband and I officially moved to Tampa. I am ready to hit the ground running, get plugged into the local community, and partner with Tampa businesses and creators who are ready to take their social media to the next level.
